This is the second segment of the sixth episode of The All-New Super Friends Hour, unlike most other Super Friends formats, this one had hour long episodes that were made up of various shorter cartoons. The first segment would be an adventure staring two members (or three in some cases as Batman and Robin would often team with another Super Friend) of the Super Friends. The second would be a morality play staring the Wonder Twins. The third would be a typical half hour Super Friends adventure. The fourth and last segment would feature one of the main Super Friends teaming up with a special DC Comics guest star.
In this cartoon the Wonder Twins try to help when a tiger escapes from the zoo and an innocent teenager is blamed for it.
This is one of the better Wonder Twins shorts. This cartoon is not the typical didactic Wonder Friends short that focuses more on teaching a lesson than entertainment. Instead this short is actually a lot of fun to watch. There is a lot to enjoy here. The tiger has a wonderful design that makes him look threatening but not like an all out villain. The scene aboard the school bus is a good suspense scene that I loved. Though their is a message here, it does not come off as didactic as it does in other Wonder Friends shorts and it never gets in the way of the entertainment.
