Snoopy and D-Day


Today marks the 75th adversary of D-Day. This of course is one of the most important days of World War 2. For any of you who do not know the history of this day I suggest clicking here.

It is sadly rare for a newspaper comic strip to salute this day, but Charles Schultz did just that with his Peanuts comic strip. Snoopy is of course more associated with WW1 than WW2. He was a WW1 flying ace who went up against the Red Baron. These strips were of course completely played for comedy and were often hilarious. Two strips Charles Schultz's made remembering D-Day featuring Snoopy would be done in a more serious matter. Here are those strips.
