An excellent Scooby short.
In this cartoon, Scooby, Shaggy and Scrappy get jobs in the circus as vendors. When they eat the food, they are supposed to be selling (or an elephant eats it in Scrappy's case), they must run away and hide from their angry boss.
This is a superior Scooby short for this era. Even if they aren't solving any spooky mysteries, this plot fits the characters to a tee. Scooby and Shaggy are exactly the type of characters who would absent-mindedly eat all the food they are supposed to be selling before they even realize this. In fact, this almost feels like it could be a subplot in a classic Scooby episode. On top of this the humor is actually great here. There are some true laugh out loud moments here and the slapstick filled climax is delightful.
This is one of the best Scooby shorts of this era.
