Another delightful episode of this anime series featuring the DC Comics characters.
In this episode our "heroes" are arrested and thrown into a prison in this new fantasy world. Here the meet Rick Flag, an ARGUS agent, who was also sent by Amanda Waller to this fantasy world. Together they escape from this prison and try to figure out why they are sent here.
This episode does a wonderful job picking up where the last episode left off and drawing us further into this fantasy world. There is some great world building here as we get a greater peak into this fantasy world and how it works. This is especially true of the scenes with the queen of this land. The humor in this episode is also a vast improvement over that in the last episode. Clayface's genre-savvy meta-commentary is truly hilarious and a great use of this character's past career as an actor. Even the episode's biggest action sequence has some great bits of comedy mixed in. Speaking of this action sequence, it is wonderful. It is stylish and bursting with creativity, while still remaining an exciting superhero (or supervillain) action sequence. The Japanese pop music in the background only makes this scene more fun.
